Job Title: Senior Practitioner Location: Remote/Hybrid (Shropshire, with travel as required) Pay Rate: 33.30 per hour (as per WM MOC) About the Role: Shropshire Council is seeking a highly experienced Senior Practitioner to support the setup and discharge of care orders for children currently placed with their parents at home. This is a non-case-holding position that focuses on collaborating with case-allocated social workers and partner agencies. The role involves managing and prioritising essential paperwork, including: PWP assessments Chronologies Court statements You will need excellent organisational and writing skills, along with the ability to work independently and focus on tasks with minimal supervision. Key Requirements: Experience: Demonstrated experience in safeguarding or children in care teams. Skills: Strong writing and organisational skills ability to hit the ground running. Transport: Must have private transport and be based within a reasonable driving distance of Shropshire. Flexibility: Available for remote work/home-based working, with a minimum of one day per week in the office. Family visits as required.
