Engineering Manager NHS - Planned Maintenance - Salary to 55k. Your role will be to manage the planned maintenance requests only in a large acute hospital in Portsmouth. Managing around 1800 planned requests a month, you will utilise around 100 contractors a month as well as an internal team of 2 electricians and a mechanical fitter to stay on top of planned maintenance and statutory compliance. Two schedulers report into this role to assist with the planning of works. You will need to have a solid Estates engineering maintenance background, along with an in depth knowledge of asset management and be familiar with how a CAFM system works. You will be expected to continue updating the asset register as the role progresses.This contract went live is 2009 and has 18 years left.
