Assistant Financial ControllerWe are recruiting a Assistant Financial Controller for a well-established company based in Basildon. This is a temporary-permanent role, and you must be available to begin immediately. You will be providing support to the Finance Director by monitoring the accounting systems and projects for the business. Duties will include:Assisting with the preparation of the management accounts and VAT returnsProcessing customer debit notes and raising supplier debit notesCompleting bank reconciliationsLiaising with the accounts assistant to resolve any unallocated cash payment queriesReviewing GRN reports and unposted invoicesAttending meetings with credit controllers and other departments when requiredManaging a team of 3 and providing training when requiredSupporting the Finance Director when requiredTo be successful for this role, you must have a degree within Accounting and Finance and ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or studying towards.
