Our client, a well established Marine Engineering company, is looking for FCAW Welders to join their team throughout 2025.This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a long term refit project.Suitable candidates must be NVQ Level 3 or Apprenticeship qualified and have a strong background in FCAW welding. Previous marine/ship repair experience would be ideal.Successful applicants will be required to spend a week in the test bay ahead of their allocated start date, passing the following tests to proceed onto the project. 12mm Multi-pass Fillet Vertical Up position tests (BS-EN ISO 9606-1) 12mm Butt Vertical Up position tests (BS-EN ISO 9606-1)Full SC Clearance is required and once approved you will be taken through the clearance process so you must be eligible for this.
