We are a school for students with SEMH needs, aged 11-16 and are seeking Behaviour Support mentor to start with us in January 2025.We are currently seeking a Behaviour Support staff member to work with young people with Social and Emotional needs and a diagnosis of Mental Health needs The ideal candidate will be able to take a theraputic approach and have a strong willingness to work with and make a difference to the lives of vunerable and dissaffected young people, that can display challenging and volatile behaviours.This specialist Ofsted Good SEMH provision are looking for a mentor to help manage challenging behaviours from students, as well as support them with working through their social and emotional difficulties and mental health difficulties.Patience, resillience and a good sense of humour are needed for this post.Previous experience and traiing in interventions and de-escalation is essential.The provision has a great team who are committed to ensuring the pupils get the most from their education.
