Job title: Claims Assessor Industry: Life Insurance Location: Dublin Morgan Mc Kinley is partnering with a leading life assurance company for a Dublin based Claims Assessor position due to new business growth within the group risk area. The wealth and insurance area of the business is a massive focus for them long term, and they have a big push to expand the team over the coming years. They offer a very flexible hybrid working model and with the growth planned within the team there are clear progression pathways for the successful Claims Assessor. The Claims Assessor will sit in the Group Risk team and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders keeping them informed of key issues. You will manage a portfolio of Claims from both individual and corporate customers across areas including critical illness and disability benefit, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. You will work on Income Protection claims for large corporate groups and manage the full claims process. Role and responsibilities: Assess and review high value risk claims using your technical knowledge Help clients with advice on medical rehabilitation options Provide excellent written and verbal communications to customers with a strong attention to detail Be a highly organised and self-motivated individual with an ability to prioritise effectively Job requirements: Experience with Life Insurance or Risk claims APA or QFA preferred, CII diploma in life and disability claims or life and disability underwriting advantageous Have a proven track record of reviewing and assessing life insurance claims The Claims Assessor will get a very competitive benefits package including pension, healthcare, maternity leave and several other perks.
