Operating in Bath and North-East Somerset, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire, WERN fosters collaboration among voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations, ensuring rural voices are heard and community needs are met. The Charity assists formal and informal groups that provide support to vulnerable, disadvantaged and isolated individuals in rural areas. They also advocate for improved community services, influencing local decisions and policies, and contributing to a sustainable future. The organisation is seeking a Chief Executive to lead them through the next stages of development and build on their recent success. As CEO, you ll provide effective leadership and direction to both WERN and the wider VCSE sector in the West of England. You will develop and maintain strong relationships and cross-sector partnerships that champion rural communities needs. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the Charity remains financially viable, implementing risk management procedures, and motivating staff to achieve a shared vision.
