QA - 6 month FTC On behalf of a key client in the midlands we are resourcing for an experienced QA for a 6 month FTC.The role is once a week in office, please see the details belowResponsibilitiesDefining and delivering testing strategy from test plans through to executionEstablishing processes for product development (software and platforms) and ensuring the quality processes are respected from requirements gathering to releaseDefining and tracking Quality KPI''s such as efficiency, test coverage, etc. and working with the team to extend automated testing including unit tests and Cypress-based front-end testsEnsuring testing is completed, reviewing results and communicating these results in a timely manner to the teamHighlighting continuous improvements initiatives which will make the quality of the development process more effective and efficientCarrying out root cause analysis for significant problems to prevent recurrence and contributing to lessons learntPromoting teamwork and encouraging professional development within the teamSkills and qualificationsConsiderable experience providing QA for customer-facing business solutionsStrong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, testing techniques, and best practicesProficiency in test planning, test design, and test executionExperience with defect tracking systems and tools, as well as ideally JiraFamiliarity with test automation frameworks and tools, especially Cypress and/or SeleniumSolid understanding of AgileStrong ..... full job details .....
