About the role:

• Provide tailored support for students with SEN needs, ensuring they access a positive and engaging learning environment.



• Plan and deliver lessons that are differentiated to meet the diverse learning needs of each child.



• Create a safe, structured classroom environment that supports emotional and behavioural regulation.



• Adapt teaching strategies to suit individual student needs, maintaining high expectations of progress and engagement.



• Foster strong, positive relationships with students to build trust and encourage positive behaviours.



• Work closely with other staff members and external specialists to provide holistic support to students.

The ideal candidate must:

• Have the right to work within the UK



• Previous experience working in a classroom setting is essential



• DBS registered on the update system or willing to obtain one



• Comfortable and flexible in diverse learning environments.



• Previous experience working in a classroom setting, ideally with students who have SEN needs, including behavioural needs.



• Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom effectively.



• QTS, PGCE, or an overseas teaching qualification equivalent to UK



• Marking and lesson planning are vital to this role
