Sous Chef

Sous Chef required to join our prestigious client, a food led Inn located close to Charing. Please note transport is required due to location. Some STRAIGHT SHIFTS are available. The ideal candidate for the role of Sous Chef, will have experience of working within Gastro Pubs / fine dining restaurants and using seasonal produce. As Sous Chef, you will be reporting to the Head Chef. Duties: Manage and supervise the kitchen chefs and other kitchen personnel Plan and develop menus, taking into consideration dietary restrictions, seasonal ingredients, and customer preferences Coordinate food preparation and cooking activities to ensure timely delivery of meals Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards Collaborate with the restaurant manager to create innovative dishes and enhance the dining experience Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety procedures and sanitation guidelines Oversee inventory management, including ordering ingredients and supplies as needed Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen Stay updated on industry trends and new culinary techniques Skills: Extensive experience in food production and culinary arts Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Creative mindset with a passion for creating unique ..... full job details .....
