We''re looking for full-time, Class 2 Day Driver to join us at our site in Chepstow. This role is temp to perm for the ideal candidate.

What you''ll do on a typical day:

• Safely operate the delivery vehicle, adhering to business standards and protocols.
• Conduct thorough vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA regulations.
• Perform white goods deliveries, accompanied by a driver''s mate.
• Execute two types of deliveries: home deliveries and kerbside deliveries.
• Deliveries are to business, not residential properties. We only offer delivery into position, no kerbside deliveries.
• For home deliveries, transport items to the customer''s room of choice, including carrying items to homes that may be several stories high
• Deliver items such as white goods (e.g., dishwashers, washing machines, fridges), kitchen units, and worktops.
• Handle multidrop deliveries, with the number of stops varying daily.
• Use a handheld scanner and complete all necessary paperwork
• Physical fitness is essential for this role due to the nature of the work.
• Strong communication skills and a positive demeanour are required for direct interaction with customers
• Postcodes to cover - SY / TF / WV / DY / WR / HR / GL / OX / SN / RG / GU / PO / SO / BH / DT / EX / TA / BA / BS / NP / CF / SA / LD

What you need to succeed with our client:

• HGV 2 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
• Minimum 6 months Class 2 experience
• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
• Multidrop delivery experience.
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
• A can-do attitude.
