My client is a leading manufacturing organisation that cover full product design to production on numerous sites across the UK. There is the rare opportunity for an experienced Quality Systems Engineer to join their well established site on the outskirts of Glasgow. This role will be responsible for defining, implementing, and maintaining the company''s Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations. Responsibilities:Act as the primary quality interface for one or two OEM accounts, maintaining strong relationships with key customer contactsDrive quality improvements and manage customer complaints or issues related to productsOversee the monitoring and analysis of quality performance metrics, identifying trends and implementing corrective actions when necessaryLead root cause analysis for quality issues and non-conformances, employing methodologies such as 8D, FMEA, and Fishbone analysisSupport the development and implementation of inspection plans, testing procedures, and quality control protocolsChampion continuous improvement activities, such as Six Sigma or Lean methodologies, to improve product quality, efficiency, and customer satisfactionEnsure compliance with relevant industry standardsExperience Required: Bachelor''s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality engineeringStrong ..... full job details .....
