The Art department provides students with the opportunity to express themselves, explore various mediums, and develop critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and dynamic Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Design and implement an inspiring curriculum that encourages students to experiment, innovate, and express themselves creatively
• Assess and monitor student progress, offering constructive feedback and support to help them thrive
• Manage classroom resources and materials, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment
• Collaborate with other departments to create cross-curricular opportunities that connect students to the arts
• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as art clubs, exhibitions, and school events to enhance the visibility of art within the school community

Qualifications andamp; Experience:

• Previous experience teaching Art at the secondary school level is preferred
• A strong portfolio and a genuine passion for the subject
• The ability to inspire students and help them build confidence in their artistic abilities
• Excellent classroom management skills with the flexibility to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive and creative learning environment
