They are dedicated to ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation, codes of practice, and guidance.Your New RoleAs a Health and Safety Advisor, you will ensure compliance with current Health and Safety legislation, approved codes of practice, and guidance. You will support the development and implementation of new policies and procedures. Additionally, you will manage the College Health and Safety Management system, ensuring compliance with standards and maintaining accreditation. You will assist and support college staff, including Student Health Advisors, in approving trips in line with the College Education Trip Processes. You will maintain and develop the educational trip process, identifying best practices to enhance the process. You will undertake risk assessments and implement required controls in conjunction with staff, contractors, or visiting organisations. You will assist in implementing pandemic controls, ensuring the provision of PPE, signage, equipment, and control plans. You will provide on-ground support across all campuses. You will assist with daily queries and requests from college and staff representatives in conjunction with the Health and Safety Manager.
