The successful Bookkeeper will be responsible for:Maintenance of the Finance frameworkManaging, adherence enhancement to the Finance policy, procedures, and processesEnsuring accurate records are kept of all financial controlsStrong double entry bookkeepingManagement of document filing and all aspects of financial records to comply with HMRC guidanceMonth End process to provide accurate accounts for monthly Management AccountsYear End process to ensure all financial data is captured, reconciled, and recorded ahead of accountant sign offPayroll and Pension controlUK VAT returns The Bookkeeper will have:ACT (Accurate, Communication and Timely)P, P, P (Prepare Plan and Prioritise)7 Cs (Clear, Correct, Concise, Courteous, Conscious, Considered, Complete)People Management Approach (Commitment and Effort = Momentum)Promote policy, process, and control measuresUsing a range of software, including email, spreadsheets and databases, to support the efficient running of the finance business unitContinuing Professional Development (technical competence) working 2 days a week in the office.
