Due to the growth of our project portfolio, we are looking for an experienced Setting Out Engineer with a solid civil engineering background to join us on a 16-week contract in Bristol, starting 22nd November. Key Responsibilities: As a Setting Out Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring precise positioning and alignment of structures on site. You will work closely with the project team to ensure all activities are carried out to the highest standards, following technical specifications. Your main duties will include: Setting out works on site (e.g., roads, drainage, foundations, structures). Ensuring accuracy in measurements, calculations, and alignment according to engineering drawings. Interpreting technical drawings to determine correct positioning on site. Conducting surveys and levelling using setting-out equipment such as total stations, GPS, and theodolites.
