A leading builders and plumbers merchant in Stoke on Trent is seeking a full-time BDM/Sales Executive to generate new leads and manage existing customer accounts. The role offers a competitive salary and benefits package with uncapped commission starting at £30,000. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and self-driven individual to join a rapidly expanding company and would suit someone who has previous sales experience in building and trades sectors. As the BDM/Sales Executive your responsibilities will include: Prospecting new B2B customers nationally through cold-calling and door canvassing activities. Generating new leads and following up on existing leads. Understanding customer requirements before proposing solutions and upselling value added products and services. Providing quotes and overseeing the project from initial consultation through to delivery. Maintaining and updating the internal CRM. The BDM/Sales Executive will have the following skills and attributes: Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to build rapport quickly. Able to deliver against realistic achievement and KPI targets. Knowledge of building and trades industry is highly desirable. Full UK driving licence. You will be working from the Stoke office between 7.30am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, and alternating Saturday mornings.
