As a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom teacher and enhancing the learning experience of pupils. The Candidate:
- Previous experience working with children in a school or similar setting (desirable but not essential)
- Assist the classroom teacher with day-to-day activities and lesson preparation
- Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN) and adapt learning activities as required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different classroom settings
