We are looking for a Primary Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 SEND support in Oldham. This role offers a daily rate starting from £100, with working hours from 08:30 to 15:30, Monday to Friday, during term time only. Please note, this is a temporary position. Responsibilities: • Provide focused 1:1 support to a primary school student with complex SEND needs, including ASC. • Use your Team Teach training to promote a safe and supportive environment. • Work closely with teachers, the SENDCO, and external professionals to adapt learning strategies that meet the student s needs. • Encourage positive behaviours, social engagement, and emotional development. Requirements: • Minimum of 2 years experience in a UK primary school setting, working with SEND students. • Team Teach qualification (essential). • Proven experience supporting students with ASC and complex needs. • Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy. • Child and adult enhanced DBS registered on the update service.
