Housing Support WorkerHalifax37 hours per weekTemporary- Permanent 17 Umbrella ph Hamilton Woods Associates are working with a charity that is looking for a Housing Support Worker to work with clients facing homelessness. The role is initially offered on a temporary basis with scope to become permanent.The hours of working are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. Responsibilities of the Housing Support Worker includes:Providing housing and tenancy related support to homeless clients with complex needsManaging referrals and conducting needs and risk assessmentsConducting health and safety checksCompleting inductionsEnsuring clients adhere to their tenancy agreementsSupporting clients to move on into more permanent accommodationFostering joint working with other agencies and services to provide holistic supportAssisting with benefit applicationsEssential criteria of the Housing Support Worker include:Enhanced DBS within the last 12 months (or on the update service)Experience within a similar supported living environmentUK Driving License and access to own ..... full job details .....
