They are a well established company and also part of a larger group that specialise in manufacturing machinery.The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and testing of capital equipment prior to despatch, commissioning in their customer''s overseas factories and the training of operator and maintenance personnel in the use of our equipment.Job Description:To assemble product development equipment and machinery to technical drawings provided by engineeringTo modify parts and assemblies using hand and power tools such as drills, belt sanders, band saws etc.To apply experience and creativity to problem solving during the build and test phases of developmentSetting and testing of the equipmentFinal testing and assembly of machinery in preparation of inspection and despatch.Installation and commissioning of the machineryTraining of customer''s staff at various levels at both our client''s and their customer''s overseas premisesReport writing and recommendations following all visitsKeep up to date expense claims and to uphold the expenses policyProvide training, coaching and mentoring to other members of the teamExtensive Worldwide travel including weekend work and travel where requiredTo ensure that all relevant machine documentation is always completed accuratelyTo identify opportunities for process, productivity and quality improvements by highlighting issues ..... full job details .....
