Quantity Surveyor Location Bolton, Lancashire Salary £40,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience Permanent role, full time We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team. The role involves managing the financial and contractual aspects of projects from the tendering stage through to final account settlement. You will focus on cost optimisation, ensuring value enhancement while maintaining the necessary standards and quality. Key Responsibilities: Monitor project programmes to identify delays and manage entitlement to additional time. Administer contract change control effectively, ensuring timely submission of notices and prompt agreements with clients and subcontractors. Foster positive relationships with subcontractors, ensuring financial and contractual control in line with legislation and company procedures. Collaborate with project managers to achieve cost, quality, and delivery objectives. Ensure compliance with the Commercial Strategy and various operational, financial, and legislative standards. Attend contract-related meetings such as handovers, start-ups, and progress reviews. Support sales and estimating teams with commercial activities. Ensure contract set-up aligns with project requirements, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
