Offshore Consents Specialist required for a major offshore wind developer based in ScotlandResponsibilitiesSupport the Offshore Consent Leads in the delivery of the offshore consents and licensing requirements required for client projects and working with the wider team.Reviewing of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) technical deliverables prepared by third party consultants. Focus will either be on biological topics or human topics, dependant on experience, across both projectsLiaise with external service providers where required, as directed by the Offshore Consent Manager and/or Offshore Consents Lead.Participate in the identification and management of consenting risks for design, construction, operation, and decommissioning.Support in engagement with key stakeholders (statutory consultees and key consultees) to support offshore consenting requirements.Build strong relationships with project team to ensure environmental and consenting requirements are linked with design activities.Other activities as may be reasonably required by the Company from time to time.RequirementsProactive, solution-focused approach to complex consenting / environmental issues.Demonstrable experience working within renewable energy or environmental consultancy, with a clear focus on project consenting and development, taking projects through the consenting processMinimum of 5 years experience.Degree qualified in a relevant discipline (such as marine biology, environmental science, engineering, ..... full job details .....
