Sustainability LeadContract - 6 monthsReading - Hybrid-working The Property Team is accountable for the estate management and implementation of property and planning strategies across the shared and unilateral network property portfolio, ensuring partners and suppliers adhere to agreed guidelines when undertaking work or upgrades on the property estate. This role will join the Property Operations Team (Energy) and will lead the development and delivery of the organisation''s sustainability agenda working closely with the Senior Property Operations Manager as part of the organisations Energy and Power Roadmap. They will be responsible for the organisation''s sustainability strategy and develop initiatives to support this. What you will do:Develop a sustainability strategy focused on our specific legal and statutory requirements and what we need to do to support our Shareholders'' legal and statutory requirements.Prepare the FDRs to be submitted and engaged on within MBNL and both shareholders.Assess the current and future net-zero landscape to influence and engage the wider business and shareholders to understand gaps that need filling, with a particular focus on Scope 3 emissions.Determine whether the services MBNL is providing complements shareholder requirements.Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in sustainability and ensuring the implications for the organisation are understood and communicated and act on significant changes.Provide reports into ..... full job details .....
