Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Facilities / Site Services / Property Services / Electrical bias) to work as part of their critical engineering maintenance team in Northampton. In this role, you will be expected to have excellent technical knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical power and control wiring and test inspection of electrical installations. You will be expected to work on multiple FM systems with the majority of the work being electrical maintenance. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to discuss work and progress with customers and managers. You will also have excellent organisational skills. (PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE HAPPY WITH THE SHIFT PATTERNS BEFORE APPLYING) Working Hours: The successful candidate will be required to follow the shift rotation system, with some degree of voluntary flexibility to meet our 24/7 operational needs on occasion, including voluntary overtime coverage and occasional shift pattern flexibility. The role will cover day and night shifts, including scheduled weekends. • Shift pattern is 4 days on, 4 days off rotation. 4 days typically 05:50 - 18:15 then 4 days off, followed by 4 nights 17:50 - 06:15 then 4 days off. • 12 hour 25 minute shifts (11 hour 25 minute work with 1 hour unpaid break) exception being any shift on a Monday which needs to 12 hours 30 minutes (11 hour 30 work and 1 hour break) • 40 hours a week.
