This large, well established and well-known optician are now looking for an Optical Practice Manager to join their team in the Camberley area. You will be joining a large team of 40+, in a professional yet clinical environment. This opportunity will be working full time, either 8:15am to 5:00pm or 9:30 to 6:00pm including of Saturdays, no Sundays as this is already covered by the Assistant Manager. Responsibilities of the Optical Practice Manager The main duties of this role will be to manage, control and keep a handle on the shopfloor staff. This includes training and development, identifying areas of improvement; creating individual plans and targets as well as implementing these to overcome such areas. You will make sure the shopfloor team are seeing to patients, answering phones and completing their daily duties. You will have previous people management experience as you will be managing a team of 40+ staff. A strong optical knowledge is also required as you will be dispensing and leading from the front, setting a good example.
