Job Overview Corr Recruitment are seeking Class 2 drivers for our client based in Chepstow. for multi-drop delivery around Wales, Southwest and the Midlands. 0500 starts - 9hr shift with possible overtime. 16.26 p/hr. Duties Operate and drive lorries in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. 0500 start times. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all safety protocols while on the road and during loading/unloading processes. Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately to management. Requirements Valid commercial driving licence (C or C+E) with a clean driving record (no more than 6 pts). Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with refrigeration experience. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting heavy items when necessary. Safety boots, High Viz, Dark Plain Clothing.
