Vision for Education are are currently seeking a qualified SEN Teacher for work within our partner SEN school settings across East Lancashire. Areas include: Blackburn, Accrington, Burnley, Nelson and Colne. About the role The teacher role involves teaching groups of children with additional needs such as ASD, PMLD, MLD and Social, emotional and mental health needs.You will hold substantial subject knowledge and will be able to inspire and nurture pupils to a higher level of learning. You will also be responsible for organising the supporting staff in the classroom.Your daily routine will involve continuously adapting and working alongside pupils to make their time in school as beneficial and productive as possible. Your main objective will be to support these pupils with this, as well as making sure they are not displaying any triggers or any signs of unease. Adaptability, patience and an resilient attitude will be key to success in this role.Our main aim is to offer the best possible quality of learning to pupils.
