Project Coordinator

Programmed Property Services is currently seeking a hands-on Paint Project Coordinator to join our Launceston team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced painter or tradesperson to put down the tools and begin the next stage of their professional journey. Our team is known for providing exceptional painting services to a variety of clients across Launceston. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Project & Branch Manager in successfully delivering projects across Northern Tasmania.

- Apply paints, sealers, and solvents to the exterior and interior building surfaces such as plaster, sheetrock, concrete and wood
- Prepare painting surfaces for painting by scraping, filling in the cracks and removing old paint
- Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
- Establish and maintain an excellent relationship with our clients
- Support the Branch Manager to deliver projects across the contract
- Coordinate project activities and resources, ensuring effective communication among team members.
- Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Maintain project documentation, including schedules, reports, and correspondence
- Organise and facilitate project meetings, documenting minutes and action items
- Arrange all materials and equipment for the site
- Deliver contract and progress reporting
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations
- Assist with ensuring projects are completed on time and to budget
- Assist the team with daily administrative tasks across the projects
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced painter with excellent leadership/people management skills. Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:
- First-class stakeholder engagement and customer service skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft suite
- Provide care and empathy to our site-based teams
- A strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others
