The Recipe As a Lead Engineer you''ll direct the daily activities of the shift teams engaged on breakdown and preventative maintenance for the plant, maximising plant reliability, performance, product quality and safety. The Role You''ll ensure plant is safe to operate and maintain and personnel conform to health and safety legislation, policies and standards, as well as leading the engineering team to support the day to day operation by delivering planned and reactive maintenance to achieve engineering KPIs. You''ll work within the framework of a Business led engineering reliability strategy with the effective use of SAP PM, and maintain equipment in line with relevant food safety legislation. As well as overseeing this you will help support the recruitment, motivation and development of an engineering team to ensure they achieve the goals and targets agreed in their role profiles and performance review meetings. Essential Ingredients Structured and practical engineering training (e.g. apprenticeship/HNC/degree). Knowledge and experience of maintenance in an FMCG environment.
