Essential - Minimum of 1 year experience in the last 5 years in a relevant setting to the residential care of children (children and/or disabilities, preferably both)£

Essential - Minimum of 2 years experience in a management position including management and supervision of staff£

Essential - Willingness to register with Ofsted as the manager of the home, including the necessary processes to achieve this.

Desirable - Background in leadership and management of residential care for children with disabilities, preferably as a registered manager.£

Desirable - Level 5 diploma in leadership and management for residential care or equivalent. If not held, Willingness to complete this.£

Desirable - Good working knowledge of the SCCIF and the childrens homes regulations£

Desirable - Experience of Ofsted Inspections
