Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a national charity to recruit for the Event Manager in order to lead the events programme - developing, promoting, and delivering a range of events that maximise income, drives supporter engagement and raises the charity s profile. As an Events Manager you will: You will work closely with the organisations senior stakeholders and the fundraising teams to develop a strategy for special events that drives major funded engagement, cultivates opportunities, and maximises income.You will manage event committees, nurture relationships with key individuals and positively influence their engagement with and contributions to the Charity special events programme.The Events Manager will oversee the delivery of the sports and challenges programme, ensuring its development, promotion and delivering first class supporter care. To be successful, you must have experience: Managing a range of successful eventsDemonstrable experience of delivering events that generate incomeManaging suppliers and event venuesWorking collaboratively with colleagues and teams, including Senior Leadership Teams and external committees, to deliver events to reach shared goalsDeveloping events as relationship building/ stewardship toolExperience of managing staff and/or volunteersExperience of setting and managing budgetsUnderstanding of Special Events Committees and networks Salary: £40,000 per annum Contract type: Full-time, permanentLocation- Leatherhead, Surrey ..... full job details .....
