Job Title: Draughtsperson and Team Leader – Mining Industry

Location: Gauteng, South Africa

Job Type: Full-time

Hire Resolve’s Leading Mining Client are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Draughtsperson and Team Leader to join our mining team in Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of drafters in designing and drafting plans and technical drawings for various mining projects.

Responsibilities:

– Lead and manage a team of drafters to ensure accuracy and timeliness in the completion of technical drawings for mining projects
– Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and translate them into detailed drawings
– Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all drawings produced
– Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to promote professional development and growth
– Review and approve drawings before submission for approval
– Coordinate with external stakeholders, such as contractors and suppliers, to ensure all drawings meet project specifications
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all drawings and project documentation

Requirements:

– Degree in Engineering or related field
– Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Draughtsperson in the mining industry
– Proven experience in leading and managing a team of drafters
– Proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting software
– Strong understanding of mining industry regulations and standards
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy
– Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed

Salary: Competitive, based on experience
