Search are currently recruiting for a number of HGV Class 1 drivers to work on behalf of our prestigious client based in Ellesmere Port. Working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern with days and nights available. Please note this is 7 weeks work starting on 10th November 2024Key Responsibilities: Safely operate Class 1 vehicles. Conduct depot deliveries and collections, ensuring timely and efficient service. Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport. Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members. Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary.Pay rates PAYE 14.50/h days 16.00/h nights 16.50/h Saturday 17.50/h SundayPay rates PAYE (inc. holiday pay): 16.25/h days 17.93/h nights 18.49/h Saturday 19.61/h SundayRequirements: Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license, CPC, Tacho card. Experience in general haulage A clean driving record with no major endorsements.
