Catering AssistantWe are seeking an experienced Catering Assistant to support the Catering team with all aspects of catering whilst providing a friendly, efficient service to all staff and pupils.Location: ThatchamJob Type: Permanent RoleSalary: 12 per hourHours: 37.5 hours, 5 out of 7 working pattern Monday-Sunday 12PM - 8PMTerm time only + 5 weeksAs the Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for:Ensuring that the dining room, servery, and salad counters are set up and maintained to the highest standards of food service and hygieneAssisting with any food preparation as directed by the management teamTo ensure the service counters and areas are clean ready for the next serviceEnsuring the crockery, cutlery, glasses are clean and well presentedTo work in all areas of the operation including front of house, plate, and pot wash on a rota basisThe successful candidate will have the following related skills / experienceProfessional yet friendly approach with strong communication skillsFlexible approach to the type of work undertaken and the hours workedPrevious experience of working in a similar roleAbility to meet Health and Safety requirements / guidelinesAbility to work unsupervised and to own ..... full job details .....
