TeacherActive is recruiting for a reliable and enthusiastic Midday Meals Supervisor to join a vibrant primary school in South East London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive school environment, helping to ensure the safety and well-being of students during lunchtime.Key Responsibilities:- Supervise children during the midday break, both in the dining hall and playground.- Ensure the safety and welfare of students, encouraging positive behavior and social interaction.- Assist younger children with their meals, as necessary.- Promote a happy and inclusive environment for all students.- Monitor and manage behavior according to the school s policies, reporting any incidents to the appropriate staff members.Requirements:- Previous experience working with children in a school or similar setting is desirable.- Ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with children and staff.- A calm, patient, and approachable demeanor.- A strong sense of responsibility and the ability to manage groups of children effectively.- Must be reliable and punctual.Pay Rate:- £13-£15 per hour (depending on experience)Start Date:- ASAPIf you are a responsible and proactive individual who enjoys working with children, we would love to hear from you.
