Overview We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant with expertise in supporting students with challenging behaviour and diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fostering an inclusive learning environment and supporting the diverse needs of our students, including those who are Non-Verbal and have Sensory Processing Difficulties. The positions will start as temporary and have the option to move onto permanent contracts after 12 academic weeks. Responsibilities Work closely with students exhibiting challenging behaviour and diverse learning needs to provide individualised support and guidance in both academic and social settings Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies for student success Create and adapt learning materials to meet the specific needs of students with diverse learning styles, including those with Autism and ADHD Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and valued Qualifications Experience working with students with challenging behaviour, Autism and ADHD Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for effectively supporting students SEN Patience and empathy when working with students who have diverse learning needs Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic educational setting, accommodating the needs of students Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion in the classroom, ..... full job details .....
