Senior Civil Pipeline Engineer required for a contract role based in Peterborough, PE2

- £30 per hour PAYE
- 40 hours per week
- Start as soon as possible, ongoing for 6-12 months

About the role

- Working on transformational pipeline engineering projects for critical water transmission infrastructure
- Managing a team, undertaking technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
- Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
- Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.

The right candidate

- Comfortable with UK and international travel when required
- Chartered Civil Engineer with + 2yrs relevant work experience
- Experience in pipeline design delivery, including engagement of multidisciplinary design resources.
- Proficiency in designing within appropriate digital analysis packages, following local and national guidance. eg HADES, Inforworks, EPANET.
- Sound knowledge of hydraulics, pipe restraint and jointing, pipeline materials, bedding and UTX.
