Key Responsibilities:


  • Teach RE to Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Plan and deliver lessons that encourage students to think critically about religious and ethical topics.
  • Track student progress, providing support and feedback to help them succeed.
  • Create a classroom environment where students feel comfortable sharing their ideas and learning from one another.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the RE department and across the school to maintain high teaching standards.
  • Stay up to date with educational developments and engage in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications andamp; Experience:


  • Previous experience teaching RE at the secondary school level is desirable but not essential.
  • A genuine passion for teaching RE and encouraging students to engage with complex ideas.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
