Supply Desk are supporting a dynamic 11andndash;16 mixed secondary school in Chatham with their search for a dedicated and adaptable History Teacher. This Ofsted-rated andlsquo;Goodandrsquo; school, with a capacity of 800 students, is seeking a teacher who can take on full teaching responsibilities on a flexible supply contract until the end of the academic year.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring History lessons across Key Stages 3andndash;5.
• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum and school standards.
• Teach the AQA syllabus, ensuring lessons cater to mixed-ability groups.
• Take on form tutor responsibilities, supporting studentsandrsquo; personal and academic growth.
• Contribute to the planning and organisation of school trips, enhancing the History curriculum.
• Attend parents'' evenings and collaborate with colleagues to drive student progress.

What Weandrsquo;re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching History at KS3andndash;KS5.
• A passion for delivering dynamic lessons that inspire a love for History.
• Strong organisational skills and a commitment to taking on full teaching responsibilities.
• Flexibility and reliability to meet the needs of a supply contract.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (registered on the Update Service) or willingness to apply.
