Job Details Vital are working with a leading MandE contractor who are looking to recruit a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer.The company specialise in Mechanical and electrical installations for commercial and industrial projects, Service and maintenance and design and energy efficiency.As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for: - leading the design and coordination of all HVAC systems and controls on projects. Producing detailed mechanical engineering designs and calculations. Collaborating with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate mechanical systems into the overall project design. Ensuring designs comply with relevant standards, regulations, and environmental considerations. Managing and mentoring junior engineers and supporting their professional development. Conducting site inspections and liaising with our construction team to ensure successful implementation of projects. Preparing and reviewing technical reports, specifications, and documentation. Providing technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Participating in client meetings and presentations to communicate design solutions effectively. Heating, Ventilation and Cooling (HVAC) Public Health Systems Building Management Systems Building Energy Modelling and Part L Compliance Low Carbon DesignQualifications HNC/HND Building Services Engineering as a minimum.
