Early Years teachers are required for advanced and emergency supply teaching cover from September 2024. Your new school I work with a number of nursery, infant and primary schools and academies, within the Telford and Wrekin local authority area.You will work with a variety of 1 to 3 form entry schools, Faith and non-Faith settings and schools with links to other schools in the local and wider area.Your new role From the Autumn term, I will be supporting nursery, infant and primary schools with a variety of roles within the classroom including:PPA coverEmergency same day absence cover (calls received from schools from 6am)Advanced absence cover (calls received from schools up to 10pm)ECT / SLT release time coverMaternity leavePaternity leaveCourse coverWhat you''ll need to succeed Successful Early Years supply teachers have a variety of skills and experience. You will:Hold QTS and be able to provide references that cover at least 40 days of teaching, within the last 2 years.Have experience of teaching Early Years.Have in-depth knowledge of the Early Years curriculum.Be confident in quickly establishing new and effective relationships with children and staff.Be able to quickly read a classroom and be able to adapt your teaching delivery and classroom management style to suit the class at the time.Have a flexible approach, being able to follow the different policies of a variety of schools.Primary supply teaching roles are open to experienced teachers and ECTs.What you''ll ..... full job details .....
