Job Summary Our client is currently experiencing a period of growth and as a result is looking to recruit a Warehouse / Packaging Operative to join their team on a full time basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role within the warehouse undertaking a wide range of roles to ensure our clients customers receive orders correctly and on time . This position requires a strong attention to detail, ability to work both as a warehouse operative and use a packaging machine. This role is temporary for 13 weeks before transferring to our client on a permanent basis. Duties Operate packaging machinery and equipment to prepare products for shipment. Load and unload materials from pallets and containers, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed. Maintain accurate stock levels and assist with inventory management using a Warehouse Management System (WMS). Perform regular inspections of packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. Execute picking and packing tasks efficiently, adhering to quality control measures. Collaborate with team members to build pallets for shipping, ensuring stability and safety during transport. Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Experience Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
