The Role Overview As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for group-wide financial reporting and analysis, while managing a small team. You will play a crucial role in supporting financial function within the business. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis techniques. Responsibilities and Duties Financial Reporting - prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports, statements and reconciliations, including balance sheet, profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries, forecastingFinancial Analysis - analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior managementPerformance Reporting - create and present comprehensive management reports that highlight business performance and emerging trendsRisk Management - improve and implement risk management and internal controls and processesCost Management - analyse costs and recommend improvements to enhance profitabilityStatutory Reporting - prepare statutory financial statements in collaboration with external financial accountantsTeam Supervision - supervise and mentor the internal accounting teamCompliance and Controls - ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls and policies Desired Skills CIMA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified (final stage)Minimum of 5 years'' post qualification experience in a Management Accountant roleStrong understanding of accounting, finance principles and ..... full job details .....
