Abatec is seeking an experienced freelance Site Engineer to join our client, a leading Tier 1 contractor, who has built an outstanding reputation for delivering major highways projects. The ongoing project in South Wales requires a Site Engineer with previous experience in highways, groundworks, drainage, and general civil engineering. As a Site Engineer you will: Use a robotic total station and GPS to provide leveling and surveying across site. Check drawings and quantities, ensuring the accuracy of calculations. Comply with the site-specific health and safety protocols to ensure any health and safety concerns are identified and reported as necessary. Be a source of technical advice and quality control Have experience of highways, drainage, groundworks Our client requires a Site Engineer with: Valid CSCS and experience of robotic total stations and GPS A good understating of construction health and safety protocols. Excellent communication skills. HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.
