Westwood Recruitment are on the lookout for a Project Manager to join our client on a permanent basis in Bredbury with an immediate start available. This role is also open to someone who is a Project Co-Ordinator with Engineering experience looking to make a step up. As Project Manager you will be reporting into the Senior Project Manager. You will liaise with the Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Sales departments to help ensure that quality criteria has been assessed and to help implement an effective project launch and product delivery. This role is office based only. Duties and Responsibilities Ensure that Quality Standards are to BS EN ISO 9001 and are maintained Health and Safety regulations are observed and maintained Implementing effective project launches whilst also liaising with the Sales, Quality and Manufacturing departments to ensure delivery and quality implications have been all assessed Produce clear project plans and schedules To assist with implementing total quality and process improvement within the company To identify any risk to schedules and to develop recovery/mitigation plans Ensure that correct reporting of additional costs to projects are reported and agreed where appropriate Attending pre-production meetings internally as well as externally with customers Produce management reports as required for management meetings Work with key suppliers and procurement departments to ensure that delivery schedules are achieved To liaise and inform ..... full job details .....
