They are recruiting for a Senior Controls and Automation Engineer to join their team. In return for a salary in the region 45.000 - 65.000 along with excellent employment benefits. They are looking for an experienced Controls and Automation Engineer to work alongside the engineering team on existing and new products in the filling and packaging industry. The applicant will be required to work on full life cycle of projects but with particular focus on customer and aftersales technical support. Key Responsibilities include: Assist customers and service engineers with technical queries via email, telephone and remote access. Travel to customer sites UK and occasionally worldwide (on average no more than once or twice per year) for breakdowns, software modifications and customer training. Create electrical BOMs using Microsoft Navision. Design electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical. Design new PLC and HMI software and modify existing software. Commissioning and testing machines in the factory in preparation for FATs. Write operation and maintenance manuals. Requirements: Electrical and software design experience.
