Our client is a successful and well-established manufacturer. They are looking for a Laser Setter Operator / Laser Machine Operative to join their team. Salary: £30,000 + Overtime at x1.5 Hours of work: 6.40am 4.45pm, Monday - Thursday (3 day weekend!) The purpose of the Laser Machine Operator is to operate and maintain laser cutting machinery, in order to cut a variety of materials to a high degree of accuracy and precision. The Laser Operator is also responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that may arise, as well as maintaining the laser cutting machinery to ensure maximum performance and productivity. In addition to Laser operation, this role will involve loading and moving the manufactured parts around the factory using a Counterbalance Forklift Truck, therefore an in-date Counterbalance FLT License will be required. Applicant Requirements: • Extensive experience of using CypCut software • In date Counterbalance FLT License, with experience of using a Forklift Truck • Ability to operate and maintain laser cutting machinery with precision and care • Excellent problem solving and communication skills • Be able to read technical drawings and blueprints • Able to check and measure the accuracy of components Duties: • Set up and operate laser cutting machines using CypCut software • Monitor laser machines during operation • Adjust laser speed and intensity to achieve the desired result • Load and unload cut products using an FLT • Maintain and ..... full job details .....
