Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for a Class 3 Qualified Senior Building Control Surveyor (Band 4) on a 3 months contract with a possibility of further extension.Working pattern- Hybrid, in the office and on-site Most important bit- Needs to have experience in building control and be-or recently have been a senior building control surveyor.Responsibilities:Review plans for a diverse range of construction projects.Conduct on-site inspections to ensure compliance with building regulations.Provide Building Control advice through various channels (phone, email, in person).Inspect dangerous structures during regular working hours.Participate in the out-of-hours dangerous structures rota.Maintain accurate records of inspections and correspondence.Support the training of Trainee and Assistant Surveyors.Assist the Principal Surveyor and Head of Building Control with additional team duties.Required Skills:Degree in construction or equivalent qualification, preferably with a Band C Building Control Surveyor Registration (BSR) qualification.Full corporate membership status with a recognized professional body such as RICS, CABE, or CIOB.Minimum of seven years'' experience in Building Control.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.Eagerness to learn and develop both soft and technical skills.Strong team player with a sense of responsibility.Pre-Submission Review Questions:Do you understand the objectives of the Building ..... full job details .....
