An Accounts Assistant is needed to join the finance department at LCS Legal Services Group, based in Dawlish.About UsLCS Legal Services Group provides a full range of Estate Planning services including Will writing, deceased Estate Administration and Probate, various Will Trusts and standalone Asset Protection Trusts. We also offer Lasting Powers of Attorney, helping clients to safeguard their assets and manage their affairs whilst ensuring compliance with legal requirements.Key Responsibilities Process invoices, payments, and expense claims.Send invoices and follow up on overdue payments.Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate ledgers.Record financial transactions in accounting systems.Assist with payroll processes and VAT returns.Support tax compliance and calculations.Help prepare monthly and year-end financial reports.Provide documentation for audits.Manage financial documents and respond to queries.Use accounting software like Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks. Desirable Experience Ideally having one to two years experience in a similar role with administrative or accounting responsibilities.Experience of using accounting or bookkeeping software is a bonus, as is any previous work in a support role in a Finance related position.Applicants that have or had an apprenticeship and on-the-job training with experience of performing some of the most common tasks for the role can also apply.
